ABOUT US
Established in 1984, UDRI works towards enriching the understanding of the urban environment and working towards its improvement. UDRI is currently structured around 5 key complimentary programs that support our objectives. These include: Projects, Publications, Resource Centre, Public Forum and Mumbai Studio.
Our activities are steered by a Board of Trustees and an Executive Committee. In addition, our work is often mentored by a group of retired officers, planning experts and engagements with other organisations, thus deepening our own understanding of the city. Our core program team is small but covers diverse backgrounds and interests.
