Anuradha ParmarExecutive Director

Anuradha is an architect and urban planner and has worked for over 15 years on urban development projects in the US, UK and India. Her interest lies in urban regeneration, conservation and regional and environmental planning.

She has worked with local governments, public and private institutions, and the London Olympics Growth Boroughs to implement planning projects. Her work has included the implementation of urban regeneration schemes, stakeholder engagement, capacity building and fundraising.
Prior to the US, she practised as an architect in India. She has a Masters in Community and Regional Planning from UT, Austin and a B. Arch. from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.

Ninad SansareAssociate Director

Ninad is an architect, urban planner, and political scientist with a strong interest in urban governance, spatial planning, and urban resilience. Before joining UDRI, Ninad worked as an assistant professor of urban planning at the LSR School of Architecture. He is currently also associated with the LSRSOA as a visiting professor.

Ninad holds master’s degrees, one in urban planning from TU Delft (Netherlands) and another in political science from IGNOU (New Delhi). He did his bachelor’s in Architecture from the Mumbai University in 2017. Ninad has published various articles in international conferences and magazines. He is keen to study spatial planning practices around the world with the help of institutional analysis. In his free time, Ninad enjoys cooking, reading and playing sitar.

Prerna YadavSenior Research Associate

Prerna is an architect and urbanist with an interest in spatial planning, design and public policy. She has a Master’s in Urban Design from CEPT University and a B.Arch.

Over the years, she has worked with local governments, and public and private institutions in architecture and the urban domain working. She has been associated with prestigious projects like the Central Secretariat and Central Vista, New Delhi, and the Redevelopment of BDD Chawls, Mumbai. A goal-oriented person, Prerna enjoys critically dealing with real-life urban issues and helping resolve them. In her free time, she can often be found reading or planning her next travels.

Elaine AgithSenior Research Associate

Elaine is an urban designer and an architect. Having graduated from CEPT University with a Master of Urban Design and School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi with a Bachelor of Architecture,

she has worked in collaboration with government agencies to prepare master planning strategies and urban design interventions. Her keen interest to comprehend people’s interaction with public spaces often drives her to explore new places and capture these experiences.

Krisha is an architect who graduated from the School of Environment and Architecture, Mumbai. She has a strong interest in urban planning and wishes to continue working in this field.
