Dr. Arvind P. Jamkhedkar is an archaeologist, indologist and art historian, and has been associated with several prestigious institutions. He was former Director of Maharashtra State Archaeology and Museums. Dr. Jamkhedkar is the current President of the Deccan College Post-Graduate Research Institute, Pune. He is the Vice President of the Asiatic Society in Mumbai.
