The Green Map is a project to promote healthy cities and sustainable communities by developing maps to chart the sites of environmental significance in urban places. By highlighting a community’s special places as well as its natural, cultural and sustainability resources, Green Map expects to help local citizens understand their community’s interdependent environmental, social and economic systems. The UDRI hosted mapmakers and environmentalists of local and international repute to collaborate and further discuss this tool and its relevance for a more sustainable future.
