The UDRI Lecture Series
are organised monthly, in two sessions from January to April and
September to December each year with the intention of establishing
a dialogue that improves co-operation by mutual exchange of ideas
and experiences. Lectures have been arranged to cover the works
of architects, landscape architects, conservation architects, city
historians, artists and filmmakers inspired by the city. So far
the UDRI has organised 135 lectures.
Seminars : Seminars are organised on issues, proposals, and ideas
that are relevant to the city at a particular time. They enable
the architect, planner and the public to broaden their understanding
of the values of architecture and urban design, thus planning their
critical contribution to public life.
Our Lecture Series and exhibitions annually draw thousands of students,
professionals and citizens interested in building a sustainable
future for our community. UDRI has also brought attention and insight
to innovative design and conservation solutions through our workshops,
seminars and conferences.
